openbsd work very well. acpi-only machine, no apm support. listed by me at openbsd/i386 laptop page. many built-in functional keys, cpu speed control (“sysctl hw.setperf”) work. this laptop have one minipci slot.
tm2300 is a big and heavy laptop, but have nice screen. i want change this laptop to ibm thinkpad x20 or ibm thinkpad x40 very soon.
